What is Flourishing Under No Pressure (FUN)?
By ROS
Flourishing Under No Pressure, or FUN, is the ability to thrive and grow without being stressed or overwhelmed by outside expectations. Athletes often perform their best when they stop carrying other people's expectations and start enjoying the work, every rep and every race, as if it were their last.
Pressure isn't the problem
Pressure shows up whether you invite it or not. What matters is who's driving. When outside expectations drive, the work gets heavy. When you drive, there's room to grow.
An example
One athlete found the pressure to perform was making them worse. The turning point came when they decided to enjoy every race like it was their last. Personal bests followed.
